Conference Policies

  • Respecting privacy: Please note that some attendees choose not share their interest in spiritual topics and/or their spiritual identity with the wider world. Be aware of this as you post, talk, chat, text, and tweet.
  • Photos and recordings: Please ask permission of everyone included before you take a photo or make a recording. (See above re: privacy).
  • If you need help during the conference, please go to the Registration Desk.
  • Please wear your name badge during sessions and events.
  • Please be on time, especially to rituals. Some rituals are limited in size. Once the door is closed for a ritual, please do not enter.
  • Please recycle your badge holder when you leave the conference by leaving it at the Registration Desk.

Self-Care
Events like Between the Worlds/Sacred Space can be surprisingly taxing. Please be sure to drink what you think is sufficient water, and then drink some more. Make sure to get adequate rest, eat, and pay attention to all of your bodies.

Honoring Boundaries

  • As a general rule, those who attend Sacred Space and Between the Worlds like to express their open, welcoming natures through physical affection. Let’s face it, most Pagans are big huggers, and that is a wonderful thing. However, we need to be aware that we all have different histories, levels of comfort with physicality, and sensitivity to overload, especially when the psychic senses are so strongly activated. Please be sure your hug is welcomed. Physical touch can be upsetting to those who struggle with post-traumatic stress disorder.
  • If you wish to wear a mask, for whatever reason, please feel free to do so. If others are wearing masks around you, please be mindful that they may also need more social distancing, especially if you are unmasked. We will have extra masks at the registration table.

Cell Phone Use
Please be mindful of those around you when talking on your phone. Do not use your phone during a ritual or
class. Silence or turn off your phone before entering a classroom or ritual space. If you must talk on your phone,
be considerate of others and do so outside of the room where a class or ritual is taking place. Please take care to
hold phone conversations in an area where you will not disturb others.
